Mitsuse Base Camp is located in Mitsuse Village, Saga City, Saga Prefecture, about an hour's drive from cities in Kitakyushu such as Karatsu City, Kurume City, and Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It boasts good access to tourist attractions such as Itoshima and Yoshinogari Historical Park within driving distance, and in a superb location surrounded by abundant nature and a starry sky, you can enjoy a glamping experience and an authentic BBQ using carefully selected ingredients from the Kyushu area. There is also an accommodation area exclusively for pets, so you can enjoy a variety of purposes and occasions, such as family trips and anniversary trips.

  Although it is surrounded by trees, it is located on high ground, so the view of the sky is excellent and at night the sky is filled with stars. There is space between the domes, so you can have your own private space.

  The interior of the dome was designed by an interior designer from Fukuoka City, and attention was paid to every detail, allowing you to enjoy an extraordinary experience.

  We have a pet-only accommodation area available for two groups per day. You can sleep with your dog in the beds inside the room, wearing manner wear. Enjoy a special camping experience with your dog that you wouldn't normally be able to experience.

  You can enjoy a BBQ using seasonal local ingredients such as Kinboshi Saga pork. For breakfast, you can enjoy a hearty Japanese meal of rice cooked in a clay pot using local Arita ware.

Observation area (dome tent)
- This is a special VIP area with only one building. Located near the summit, it has a spectacular location with a panoramic view of the entire Mitsuse Base Camp. You can enjoy the vast nature of Mitsuse, which changes its appearance every moment from dusk to dawn, to your heart's content.

A premium BBQ where you can enjoy ingredients packed with the bounty of Fukuoka and Saga, as well as seasonal vegetables.

Japanese-style Breakfast

The rice is sourced directly from a contracted farmer in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and cooked in an Arima-yaki earthenware pot using natural water from Mise. The meal includes a variety of side dishes made with local ingredients, including miso soup with plenty of toppings. This is a comforting breakfast that is kind to the body and soul.

About Rooms

What about the plumbing facilities?
Just after coming up from the facility entrance (which is also the administration building and restaurant), there are shower, toilet and cooking facilities. For glamping, there is another toilet building between the elevated area and the observation area.
Hot water is also available in the sink in the kitchen building.
In addition, all water coming out of the taps at our facility is drinkable.
Is it possible to bring pets?
Yes, you can. Pets are only allowed in two glamping buildings in the "Plains Area" and two free site plots in the "Multi-person Area."
