  - From Osaka: Approximately 60 minutes
    If you are coming from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway and arrive in about 5 minutes from the Awaji IC on the Kobe Awaji Naruto Expressway.
  - From Shikoku: Approximately 60-90 minutes
    Cross the Onaruto Bridge and arrive in about 5 minutes from the Awaji IC on the Kobe Awaji Naruto Expressway.
  For those arriving by train or high-speed ferry
  - The shortest route is to take the JR Kobe Line to Akashi Station and then take the Genoa Line high-speed ferry to Awaji Island.
    Get off at Akashi Station on the JR Kobe Line. It is about a 10-minute walk from JR Akashi Station to Akashi Port. From Akashi Port, take the high-speed ferry "Genova Line" to Iwaya Port in about 13 minutes. It is about an 8-minute walk from Iwaya Port.
  Those who come by highway bus
  - Express buses are also convenient from Osaka and Kobe.
    Take the express bus bound for Awajishima from Kobe Sannomiya Bus Terminal or around Osaka Station. Get off at the "Iwaya" bus stop. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Iwaya bus stop.
