Kuma River Rafting

Kumamoto Prefecture, Hitoyoshi City

The Kuma River (Kumamoto Prefecture) is one of Japan's three most rapid rivers, making it the perfect place for an exciting rafting experience. At the Hitoyoshi Kuma Rafting Center, you can enjoy the thrill of the rapids, jumping and swimming in the natural surroundings, and the beautiful valleys as you go down a course with a guide that takes about 1 to 2 hours.

Participants must be between the ages of 4th grade and 65, and must bring a swimsuit, shoes that don't mind getting wet, a towel, and eyeglass bands.

The course may be changed or canceled depending on the water level and weather, so it is recommended to check the safety information when making a reservation.
