Hiruzen Highlands Bicycle Path Cycling

Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture

At an altitude of about 500-600m, the Hiruzen Plateau (Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture) is home to a tranquil highland landscape of vast pastures and mountain valleys. A leisurely bicycle ride is especially recommended.
You can go around the entire 29-30km route, feeling the lush green land and mountains up close.
The course is relatively gentle, so it is safe for those who are not used to cycling and families.
Along the route, you will see landscapes unique to pastures and plateaus, and on clear days you can even see mountains in the distance.
If you start or end your trip at a roadside station or cycling terminal, you can easily enjoy the ride as there are bicycle rentals, parking lots, rest areas, and more.
