When it comes to the outdoors, it’s summer! Many people may have this image in mind. But when it comes to camping, fall is said to be the best time. Here's a quick explanation of why fall is the best season for camping.
Even though it's in the mountains with lots of nature, it's hot in the summer. There is a risk of heatstroke in a tent without air conditioning, and the heat can reduce the fun of camping in half. Also, in the cold winter, if you go camping unprepared, you may run into problems such as hypothermia or freezing water.Autumn's warm temperatures allow you to comfortably enjoy BBQs and other activities during the day, and sleep comfortably at night.
If you wear light clothing in the mountains in summer, you will be targeted by blood-sucking insects such as mosquitoes, horseflies, and gnats.Children with high body temperatures are particularly susceptible to mosquito bites, so it's a pity to make them feel uncomfortable because of the itching caused by insect bites. In general, insects decrease when the maximum temperature drops below 20℃, so you can enjoy camping without worrying about insects in the cool autumn months.
However, from August to October, wasps are most active, so avoid wearing black clothing, which is likely to attract wasps, and wear white or light-colored clothing and hats.
When many people think of autumn, the first thing that comes to mind is the autumn leaves. In the mountains, which are rich in nature, you can enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves of maple, beech, and maple trees.Autumn is the only time you can enjoy delicious meals and activities with your family and friends while looking at the colorful autumn leaves!
At our glamping facilities, where all rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning and heating, you can enjoy luxury camping all year round, but there are ways to enjoy glamping that are unique to fall.Introducing how to enjoy fall glamping.
Many tourists visit famous spots for autumn leaves, so when sightseeing, you have to be considerate of the people around you, and you can't enjoy the autumn leaves at your leisure. With glamping facilities that can be reserved for private use, you can enjoy viewing the autumn leaves without being disturbed by anyone. You can enjoy autumn in any way you like, such as watching the autumn leaves from a dome tent or log house, or enjoying a meal while feeling the comfortable autumn air in the open BBQ space.
Autumn is the season of fruitfulness.During this period, rice and fruits are ripe.BBQ is an essential part of glamping, and you can enjoy a menu that uses plenty of local seasonal ingredients, which vary depending on the region and facility. When planning your outing, be sure to pay attention to the meal plans of your accommodation.
While it's nice to leisurely enjoy the autumn leaves from your guest room, we also recommend enjoying activities unique to autumn, such as taking a walk under the red-colored trees and hunting for autumn delicacies. Also, on nights when it gets a little chilly, it's a great way to make good memories by having a nice campfire and drinking with friends.
Some glamping facilities may have hot springs available. This is the only time you can experience soaking in an open-air bath while admiring the autumn scenery, so be sure to take advantage of it!Warm up your body in the hot springs while listening to the murmuring of the river and the chirping of birds, and refresh your mind and body.
Glamping allows you to relax and enjoy autumn without being disturbed. However, with so many glamping facilities out there, you may be wondering which one to choose. This time, we have carefully selected glamping facilities in the Kansai area where you can see the autumn leaves, so please use them as a reference.
