After getting off the IC, the drive begins with views of the ocean, which sparkles reflecting the sunlight, and before you know it, you feel like you're at a resort.The trip is about to get more exciting.
When I arrived, what caught my eye was a beautiful yacht harbor with boats and cruisers lined up along the beach!Aqua Village Kyoto Amanohashidate is located next to a yacht harbor.The children were overjoyed and exclaimed, "It's the ocean!"The whole family watched the beautiful scenery of the beach with yachts and boats coming and going.

The glamping area is neatly divided into sections, each with a pure white dome tent and a dedicated dining space.You can now enjoy glamping in a private space where you won't have to interact with other guests.For families like ours with small children, it's really nice to be able to relax and enjoy our stay without worrying about other guests.
At Aqua Village Kyoto Amanohashidate, you can enjoy both ``Umiasobi'' activities, which are unique to its location adjacent to the yacht harbor, and ``Requasobi'' activities, such as bonfires and BBQs.I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of games and experiences await us, and how the children will spend their time there!

As soon as we opened the door, the first people who cheered were the children (lol).Big brother dives into bed and has a lot of fun for a while.
What surprised me was the interior.The inside of the white dome-shaped tent is chic green!I felt like I had come straight from the sea to the forest.What's more, through the transparent window-like area, you can see the lush green mountain slopes, and your body's strength will release in a nice way.You can spend a relaxing time here while feeling the nature!
By the way, the hotel we stayed in this time was the Aqua Dome, which had four beds.There are two-bedroom rooms for small groups and rooms where you can stay with your dog.There was also a dedicated camping site where you could park your camper or sleep in your own tent.

What surprised me was that all accommodation spaces had individual BBQ spaces and bonfire spaces.What's even more surprising is that each room has an open-air bath where you can enjoy the golden hot spring water.
Furthermore, there is not only an open-air bath with a small garden, but also an indoor bath (unit bath) with a shower.The indoor bath is very convenient because the children can wash their bodies and soak in the bathtub without getting too cold.I was able to enjoy relaxing bath time even with my children.
Another nice point for me was that they had shampoo, treatment, and body soap from the organic brand ALLNA ORGANIC, which is rare for accommodation facilities.The scent of natural aroma oil is very relaxing, and my hair feels moisturized after washing!

After enjoying the atmosphere of the room, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around the yacht harbor again before dinner.The view of the sun setting was a beautiful sight that soothed us from the daily fatigue of our busy day-to-day lives.
When I asked the staff, the concept of this facility, which is located next to a yacht harbor, was ``Assortment at Sea.'' The sea is calm throughout the year, and you can enjoy activities such as towing sports such as banana boating in the summer, and boat fishing from autumn to spring.
While we were talking about this, people who had finished fishing started getting off the boat.When you get a little older, it might be a good idea to try boat fishing here.We have never fished before, but the staff will teach you how to fish hand-to-hand on the boat, so it seems like even beginners can have fun.What's more, you can rent fishing rods and other equipment, so it's nice to be able to participate empty-handed.

Since we had a little time before dinner, we decided to enjoy one of our favorite things, the bonfire.The children are very happy because they can experience making a fire and making snacks at the bonfire.
You can try making snacks such as popcorn, roasted marshmallows, and s'mores.We tried the popcorn.After the bonfire gets a good start, the children shake a special container filled with corn seeds.When the children heard a crackling sound, they got excited and exclaimed, "There's a sound!"Along with the sound, a scent that whets your appetite wafts through the air.
Of course, the freshly made pork is so delicious that my brother can't stop eating it.Since dinner was coming later, I couldn't help but stop...
By the way, you can also grill the fish you catch on the bonfire!

That's what I thought when I saw the BBQ ingredients being arranged one after another on the table.Seasonal vegetable salad, domestic Japanese black beef steak, Amanohashidate sausage and bacon, abalone, 4 skillet dishes, and dessert.The kids BBQ menu also comes with children's favorite hamburgers and corn, and both the adult and children's menus are very filling!
And...looking at the gorgeous food made me feel even more camping.We carried the barbecue grill and table to the outdoor deck and enjoyed dinner while feeling the breeze.
The children enjoyed the process of grilling their own meat and putting the finishing touches on the skillet on the grill.Personally, I was a bit hooked on the grilled mitarashi dango dessert.

Our dome-shaped tent allows you to see the mountain slope from the skeleton part.When I woke up in the morning and went outside, the humid mountain air felt so fresh and refreshing.What's more, when you take a bath in the open-air bath, you can hear wild birds chirping! I could even hear the warblers chirping, and it was completely soothing.
The whole family was able to wake up early that morning, so we decided to drive along the road along the coast.It was a clear day, so the view of the sea sparkling in the morning sun was spectacular.I really recommend the morning drive!

When we returned from the drive, we immediately made breakfast.For breakfast, we put the ingredients in a basket and have it delivered the night before, so you can eat it whenever you want!
For breakfast, we grill our own roast beef and put it on a bagel with salad to make a roast beef burger.I grilled the sausages and bacon that I had left in the fridge because I couldn't eat them yesterday, and enjoyed a very luxurious breakfast.Even though I ate so much last night, I can't believe I was able to eat such a sumptuous breakfast again!Breakfast while immersing yourself in the openness of the outdoors was exceptional.

However, the fun time passes quickly.
Although I felt a little sad at the end of the trip, my husband was already starting to make plans for his next trip, saying things like, ``Next time, I want to enjoy boat fishing with the whole family!'' and ``Marine sports in the middle of summer would be nice!''What's more, this facility has an Aqua Restaurant on the second floor of the administration building that overlooks the yacht harbor, where you can enjoy BBQ even on a day trip.I'm sure he'll be back soon.With such a premonition, the fun glamping trip came to an end.
