Hiruzen Plateau is a resort area in Okayama surrounded by magnificent nature and idyllic scenery, overlooking famous Mt. Daisen and Hiruzen Sanza (three mountains). "Hoshizora Resort HIRUZEN," our glamping facility with only 5 units, opened in July, 2022 in a place where you can enjoy the seasonal nature and starry sky. You can choose from dome-shaped tents that allow you to comfortably enjoy the outdoor activities and stylish container cabins, as well as the rooms with dog runs limited to 8 units. Enjoy an extraordinary and elegant glamping stay while admiring the open and magnificent view.

[Pet-friendly] Dog Suite Cabin

    *After exiting the IC (Interchange), proceed towards Kurayoshi, take Prefectural Route 422 (Hiruzen Kogen Line), and continue towards the roadside station "Hiruzen Highlands Rest Stop." After passing it, turn left at the first intersection with the facility information sign and proceed 1 meters towards the mountains.

About Reservation Plans and Usage

What time is check-in/check-out?
The check-in is from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and the check-out is from 8:00am to 10:00am the next day. *If you arrive at our facility after 6:00pm, please contact us in advance.
Will there be a cancellation fee?
A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if canceled 30 days in advance, and 100% if canceled 7 days in advance. If you would like to change your reservation date up to 2 weeks in advance, you can do it once for free.
Until when can I make a reservation?
The plans with meals are accepted until 12:00pm the day before, and the room-only plan (without meals) are accepted until 8:00am on the day.
Is there a parking lot?
We have a parking space available for free.
Do you have a shuttle service?
I am afraid we currently do not provide a shuttle service.
About payment method types
Payment can be made on-site by cash, credit card, QR code, or PayPay.
Until what time will the staff at the administration building be available?
The lights in the administration Building are on from 7:00am to 12:00am.
The front desk is open from 8am to 8pm.
During lights-out hours (12:00am - 7:00am), our staff will remain on-site for emergency, so if you need urgent assistance, please come to the front desk and ring the bell.
You can reach us by phone from 9:00am to 8:00pm.
Is there a curfew for your facility?
The curfew is at 12:00am, but if you have any special circumstances, please contact our staff.

What is the capacity of the room?
"Dome Tent" can accommodate 2 to 6 people, and "Container Cabin" and "Dog Suite Cabin" can accommodate 2 to 4 people.
How many beds do you have?
Both the "Dome Tent" and "Container Cabin" have two single beds. If you are a group of 2 or more, additional bedding will be provided.

Each guest room has a dining space that can be used even in rainy weather.

Yes. Each room is fully equipped with them.

Yes. They are available in each guest room unit.
Is there a restroom / bathroom?
[Dome Tent]
There are two restrooms available: an outdoor restroom next to the food truck and an indoor restroom in the administration building (Available 2 hours).
Guests can use the shared bathroom space located in the accommodation administration building.

*Please note that our public bath is compact in size (Capacity: 3 or 2 people) and may be crowded at your desired bathing time.

[Container Cabin]
Each Container Cabin unit is equipped with a private restroom and bathroom.
Are there hot spring facilities nearby?
There is a natural hot spring facility "Hiruzen Onsen Kaiyukan," located approximately 10 minutes from our facility. We also provide discount coupons, so if you plan to go to "Hiruzen Onsen Kaiyukan," please feel free to ask our staff.

About Meals

Is it possible to bring my ingredients and beverages? Also, will a fee be charged for it?
Yes, and there is no fee for that.
By when do I need to order meals?
Please order by 12pm the day before. Please see the meals page for details.
Can I bring a BBQ stove or fire pit?
I am afraid bringing fire-causing equipment is prohibited. Thank you for your understanding.
Is it possible to order breakfast only?
We are sorry, but we currently do not accept additions for breakfast only or dinner only. Please note that we offer the "One-night-with-two-meal Plan" or the "Room-only (without meals) Plan."
Is it possible for groups or large groups to have meals together?
Please note that dining with more guests than each room's capacity (e.g. 1 or more people in one dome tent / 7 or more people at "Dog Suite Cabin" and "Container Cabin," etc.) is generally subject to conditions, such as weather, temperature, and the grill's availability. As we may not be able to accommodate requests, please make sure to contact us by email in advance.
