- By Car
  - About 35 minutes north from Kyoto on Route 162
    Turn right at the Shuzan intersection and drive about 15 minutes on Route 477 toward Kuroda
    *When coming by car navigation system, please be careful to avoid the route that passes through Route 361 (Kibune route), because the road is very narrow.
    
    From the Kosai area, take National Route 477 and Route 367 west for 20 minutes.
    Turn right at the intersection in front of Ohara Fire Department Branch and follow Prefectural Route 40 towards Kurama for 20 minutes.
    40 minutes north on Prefectural Route 477 and National Route 38
    *If you are coming using a car navigation system, please avoid some sections of Prefectural Route 477 (Ohara - Momoi) and the route that passes through Prefectural Route 361 (Kibune route) as the roads are very narrow. Please be careful to do so.
    
    After getting off at the Kyoto Minami IC on the Meishin Expressway, please follow the same route as above .
    
    *Reservations for the winter season (December to the end of February) Since our facility is located in a mountainous area, there is a possibility of sudden snowfall and frozen roads during the winter season.Please be sure to wear studded tires and chains.When reserving a rental car, please reserve a vehicle with studless tires as an option.Reservations for vehicle models with studless tires fill up quickly, so please make your reservation early.
  By bus
  - About 1 hour 20 minutes by Shuzan (JR bus) from JR Kyoto Station
    About 25 minutes from Shuzan to Haiyaguchi (Keihoku Furusato Bus)

    If you board the bus departing at 3:10 p.m., you can arrive after check-in begins. Please be careful not to miss your bus as the number of buses is small.
    *Our staff will take you to Obuse Station by car, so please contact us in advance if you are coming via this route.

Is it possible to bring a BBQ stove?
We are sorry that it is not allowed to bring in any fire equipment. Please use the charcoal BBQ grills(approximately 2 kg of charcoal, free of charge)provided.

Is it possible to do fireworks?
【Only hand-held fireworks are allowed】 in the facility. Fireworks are prohibited to be launched or shot off.
Are there any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?
There is a roadside station, a supermarket, and a convenience store (open: 6:00am - 1:00am) within a 20-minute drive.
