I want to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband and my two beloved dogs' birthdays in the best place! With this in mind, I decided to make a travel plan for this year's anniversary. When I was looking for a place to stay where my dogs could play freely, I found ``VILLA FOREST RUN''.We love experiencing nature, and were drawn to the photos of private villas in the middle of nature posted on the facility's website, so we decided to spend our anniversary at Villa Forest Run.

I drove to a glamping facility in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture. As I drive towards my destination, taking breaks with my dog along the way, I gradually enter a road surrounded by mountains with no houses.
Then, I found a signboard for "Villa Forest Run"!However, I still couldn't see anything like a villa beyond the signboard. The location looked like the beginning of an adventure, and as I moved through the trees with excitement, a white Western-style building came into view. As the name “Forest” suggests, it truly feels like a hideaway in the forest!
When the dogs got out of the car after arriving, they were fidgety and seemed eager to play. There is a photo spot in front of the facility, so you can take family photos right away. When you sit in a designated position, the numbers will add up, and with the help of the staff, we were able to take a nice commemorative photo♪
When we entered the villa to drop off our luggage, we were greeted by a welcome board with our names on it at the entrance. Each room is meticulously decorated with antique interiors that match the Western-style exterior.I was surprised at how stylish not only the lighting and large furniture were, but also the shower and toilet paper holder in the bath.
Apparently, the villa even has a theater room and indoor playroom! It would be a waste not to enjoy this to the fullest until check-out time ♪ I also liked that the dogs could freely move around the room off-leash except for the bedroom.
After being given a tour of the facility by the owner, we were given a gift of jerky made by the owner! On this day, when I left the house, I forgot to bring snacks for the dogs, so I was twice as happy (lol).
You will be surprised at Villa Forest Ran's extensive range of amenities and rental items! In addition to standard amenities such as towels and toothbrushes, we also provide pet amenities such as diapers, pet sheets, food bowls, vinyl gloves, and rolls. There are a lot of insects in the forest, so it was nice to have mosquito coils, insecticides, and insect repellent spray available.
There are also outdoor play goods such as soap bubbles, flying discs, and badminton, as well as water play goods such as floats and water guns, so if you have these, you won't get bored during your stay.Traveling with a pet usually requires a lot of baggage, so I thought it would be a great advantage to be able to travel with a minimum amount of luggage.
In fact, our dogs are very wary. When we share a dog park with other dogs, he always stays close to us and plays within a 3 meter radius. If my husband or I don't move, we sometimes stay still forever.
Today is a private dog run just for these kids! These dogs run around playfully, wagging their tails without worrying about other dogs.I don't usually see these two running around so freely, so at that moment I thought, ``Forest, I'm glad he chose to run.''
Also, we were able to spend a stress-free time without worrying about other owners.Try agility or play with a flying disc to relieve stress for both your dog and us!It was good exercise.I didn't use it this time because it was a fall trip, but you can play in the pool outdoors in the summer, so it would be fun to visit during the hot season.
After playing outside, the two dogs still had a lot of energy, so they went to the indoor playroom on the second floor. When I go on a trip with my kids, if it rains on the way, we won't be able to play outside, so having a playroom inside the room is a big help ♪ There are tunnels and slopes inside the playroom. There was also a dog cot where you could take a break, and we had plenty of fun here as well.
Pets are not allowed in the bedroom on the second floor (as long as they are inside the cage), but there is a large window from the bedroom that allows you to see into the playroom, so pets can be kept while the owner is relaxing on the bed. You can also let your dog play in the playroom. These kids get anxious when we're not around, but they seem to feel at ease when they can see us from the window. The stairs are equipped with gates to prevent your dog from falling down the stairs and getting injured, making it a perfect safety measure.
When the sky gets dark, the area around the facility is lit up, creating a magical atmosphere. It's time to start preparing for the BBQ we've been looking forward to.Meals are often not included in these types of accommodations where you can rent out the whole house and let your pet stay, so I was excited to hear that there was a plan that included meals! Also, even at hotels and inns that allow pets and include meals, there are many places where you can't bring your dog to the meal and have to leave your dog alone in your room, so it's a great feature to be able to spend time with your dog while you eat. !
When I brought the ingredients from the refrigerator and the wine I had bought in advance to the deck and set them out on the table, I was surprised at how voluminous it was.The menu is made with plenty of ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture, and includes a luxurious lineup of beef tongue, Japanese black beef, black pork belly skewers, free-range chicken skewers, and locally-produced grilled vegetables.I was especially impressed with the ajillo, which had plenty of mushrooms in it and almost jutted out from the skillet.
Have fun spending time with your family while exchanging questions such as "Should I add a little more salt?" and "How should I cook it?"The dogs also seemed hungry and were looking at me with expressions like ``I want to eat quickly!''Once the beef tongue and skewers were grilled, we poured wine into a glass and toasted the couple's wedding gift and the two dogs' birthdays!
First of all, let's enjoy some BBQ-style skewers! The beef tongue and mushroom ajillo also went well with the wine and the meal progressed. We even had a hot dog at the end, making it a very satisfying dinner for both of us.
Before taking a bath and sleeping, I prepared some drinks and snacks and headed to the theater room, which I had been curious about. The theater room has a projector and screen, so you can freely watch Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, etc.I don't usually take my dog to the movie theater, so it's been a while since I've watched a movie on the big screen.
A blissful time to lean back on a beaded cushion and watch a movie. ``I want this room for my house,'' she said to her husband as they relaxed and enjoyed their evening drink time. The two dogs look tired after playing so much all day, but they are now in a relaxing mode in this cozy space.
An elegant morning where you can sleep soundly in a fluffy bed and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. This is exactly what it feels like to be out of the ordinary! The dogs who were tired last night are now fully charged♪
Breakfast is a hot sandwich made with a hot sandwich maker. The refrigerator is stocked with ingredients such as ham, cheese, and potato salad. The recipe was written in an easy-to-understand manner, and we both had a lot of fun making it.
``I'd like to eat outside since it's a great opportunity,'' so we decided to have breakfast on the deck. The piping hot sandwich and orange juice I enjoyed while soaking in the openness of the outdoors was exceptional.
An anniversary spent in a wonderful private villa that feels like a hideaway in the forest.I was really happy to see the dogs running around happily. My husband and I had a relaxing time eating delicious food. ``I'll tell my dog-loving friends about it!'' I thought as my glamping trip with my dog came to a close.
